ALL FOR 1 Early identification of type 1 diabetes—the gateway to intervention

A comprehensive resource package for early identification and management of type 1 diabetes

An educational program designed to address key knowledge gaps in early-stage type 1 diabetes, including risk factors, the rationale and limitations of early screening, and emerging disease-modifying therapies.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the immunology, epidemiology, natural history, and progressive stages of T1D
  • Describe the rationale and methods for identifying individuals at risk for developing clinical T1D
  • Evaluate the potential role of emerging therapies in prevention of clinical T1D and early-stage care
  • Consider practical aspects of screening, monitoring, and supporting individuals in early-stage T1D
